TERRACE BAY — A 32-year-old man faces impaired driving charges after a recent traffic stop in Terrace Bay, Ontario Provincial Police say.
According to a media release issued on Monday, police said they received a call from a “concerned citizen who reported seeing a possible impaired driver in the Town of Terrace Bay.”
That happened on May 25 at around 3:30 p.m., police said.
Officers then found the vehicle on Highway 17 and conducted a roadside alcohol screening test, which the driver allegedly failed, police said, adding they did further testing back at the Schreiber OPP detachment.
The Terrace Bay man faces a pair of impaired driving charges.
He was released and is scheduled for a future court date in Schreiber.
