HEARST — Hearst residents will be able to increase the number of garbage bags that they can dispose of during the week of Sept. 19 to 24.
According to the town's announcement, during its Amnesty Week, residents will be able to dispose of up to two cubic feet of garbage or up to eight bags of garbage, free of charge, at the township’s landfill site.
Community residents were also reminded of the hours of operation for the landfill site as:
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m.
- Saturday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
- Closed on Sundays
