NORTHERN ONTARIO -- Canada Post is asking residents to help keep its employees safe this winter.
The snow and ice can pose a safety risk to anyone coming to your door, including Canada Post's deliver employees.
It's important to clear and salt snow walkways, stairs and driveways, so holiday parcels can be delivered safely.
These simple steps will help everyone avoid slips and falls. Please:
- shovel your walkway, stairs and driveway
- de-ice your stairs using sand or salt
- clear the snow and ice off of handrails
