TERRACE BAY—Superior North Catholic District School Board just completed the celebration of their Catholic Education Week.
The week ran from May 1-6, 2022 and featured a variety of activities in each of its schools.
During Catholic Education Week, the Grade 1 and 2 students at Holy Saviour Catholic School shared messages about how to be Steward's of the Earth. The class also created a bulletin board on how this will be put into action.
This year’s theme was “Rebuild-Restore-Renew” offered daily liturgies, a province-wide mass with Cardinal Collins, and Meditation Wednesday.
Cardinal Collins celebrated a provincial Catholic Education Week Mass on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at 10 am, which coincided with many faith-centred activities organized by Catholic School Boards across the region.
All students, families, board staff, trustees, and members of the broader Catholic community were invited to participate “virtually” in this celebration of the Eucharist..
For the region, a Professional Development Day took place on Friday, May 6, 2022, that focused on Faith and the theme of Catholic Education Week.
