SCHREIBER — A great career development opportunity is being launched by Contact North Terrace Bay.
The program, known as SalesCamp, is an online program being offered at no cost.
In partnership with Palette Skills, CNTB is set to run this on May 9, 2022 and May 30, 2022; and will feature training courses on trades such as construction, and forestry as well as in careers such as nursing, pharmacy and food services.
According to CNTB, the SalesCamp program will offer one-on-one career coaching, access to networking events, and professional development workshops that will, in their opinion, “help leverage your skills for a new career in tech sales.”
Sessions are free online and will provide participants with direct connections to hiring managers and sales leaders withing tech companies. Programs are said to run every three weeks. In addition, Contact North Terrace Bay presented an outline of courses that will be organized according to two categories.
The free Skills Advanced Ontario courses are:
- Construction - four weeks
- Forestry - four weeks
- Management training for nurses
- Pharmacy assistant and food service worker
Western University Career Fundamentals will cover: interview skills, job search skills, resume and cover letter and career decision-making.
