COVID-19 vaccine clinics being offered in Northwest district

LONGLAC—The Thunder Bay District Health Unit, (TBDHU) is offering COVID-19 vaccine clinics for the communities of Nipigon, Manitouwadge, Geraldton and Longlac.

TBDHU is providing a small number of appointments for children between the ages of six months and four years at community clinics. People can also contact their local health care provider for additional opportunities for children between those ages to receive their COVID vaccinations.

COVID-19 vaccine clinic dates are as follows:

Nipigon: Wednesday, Oct. 26, at the Nipigon Community Centre-Book. Appointments can be booked through the Provincial Booking System

Manitouwadge: Wednesday, Nov. 2, at the Manitouwadge Community Centre. Appointments can be booked through the Provincial Booking System

Geraldton: Wednesday, Nov. 9, at the Royal Canadian Legion. Appointments can be booked through the Provincial Booking System

Longlac: Thursday, Nov. 10, at the Royal Canadian Legion. Appointments can be booked through the Provincial Booking System

People are encouraged to contact their local healthcare provider to confirm dates and book appointments. Additional clinics will be added as they are shared with the health unit.
