Several Superior North areas are under winter storm warnings, with as much as 25 centimetres of snow and ice pellets expected in the next few days.
Environment Canada issued the warnings for Lake Superior shoreline locations, along with Greenstone, with snow expected to start falling Tuesday evening.
The forecast expects these areas will see their heaviest snowfall before dawn on Wednesday.
Environment Canada is cautioning of reduced visibility due to heavy and blowing snow, with wind gusts of up to 70 kilometres per hour.
