Four firearms stolen after break-in of Marathon home

MARATHON — A break-in at a local residence led to the theft of four firearms.

Provincial police said they were alerted on Saturday of a break-and-enter at a Lloyd Irwin Street home in Marathon that is believed to have happened on Nov. 16 or 17.

A police scenes of crime officer processed the scene for evidence.

Police provided a brief description of the firearms:

  • 308 lever action with a scope
  • Winchester, 32 calibre lever action
  • Lee Enfield, 303 bolt action
  • 16 gauge shot gun
