Frigid wind chill prompts extreme cold warning

SUPERIOR NORTH -- The cold weather is showing signs of letting up.

Environment Canada states that extreme cold is expected again Friday evening before temperatures moderate.

Temperatures near the mid -30C and extreme cold wind chills near -45 will continue early Friday morning before temperatures moderate later this morning.

Extreme cold wind chills near -45 are likely again Friday evening before temperatures begin to warm overnight.

Milder temperatures are then forecast through the rest of the weekend.

  • Fort Hope - Lansdowne House - Ogoki
