GREENSTONE—Youth Soccer has been actively going on at Geraldton’s Baseball Field and at Longlac’s Jeff Gauthier Baseball Field, since Aug. 2, 2022.
With both Youth Soccer programs ending on Sept. 21,2022, the municipalities wanted to inform all participants of their Municipality of Greenstone Soccer Windup.
The final soccer game for Geraldton youth is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 6, from 6:00 p.m.-6:50 p.m. at the Geraldton baseball field.
The programs which ran for eight weeks in both Geraldton and Longlac, involved the efforts of community volunteers and city staff who helped organize, and plan their soccer program.
The Municipality of Greenstone recently featured their announcement, informing everyone involved, that the date for this windup is Sept. 22, 2022. The notice offered the following information.
On Thursday, Sept, 22, a BBQ will be held from 5 p.m.- 6:00 p.m. at the Geraldton Community Centre Lobby, while a BBQ will be held at the same time, that evening, at the Longlac Sportsplex Curling Club Lounge.
Hot dogs, water, dessert and awards will be given to all youth who participated in this summer program.
