HEARST: The Municipality of Hearst, gave users of the fitness trail, about a local Bylaw and the use of the town fitness trail.
It was clarified that, “All terrain vehicles are not permitted on the fitness trail, municipal parks, on the bicycle trail, in municipal cemeteries, at the municipal lagoons, on the properties of Notre-Dame Hospital, Foyer des Pionniers, College Boreal, Universite de Hearst, nor on all school properties.”
The reminder was also directed to pet owners who were reminded to ensure that their pet’s excrement is picked up immediately., whether on the street/curb, in a public park or on any other private or public property.
In addition, the Municipality reminds residents that, “Any domestic animal that is outside of the owner’s premises shall be on a leach of not more than three metres in length. Residents who violate these mentioned regulations can receive a fine of $30.
