One person is dead after a multi-vehicle crash on the Trans-Canada Highway east of Thunder Bay.
Provincial police said two-vehicles collided on the Wolf River Bridge in the Dorion area on Wednesday morning.
The driver of one the vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene, and a passenger was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries, police said. Two occupants of the other vehicle were taken to hospital with undetermined injuries.
Highway 11/17 remains closed between Highway 587 in Pass Lake and Highway 628 in Red Rock.
People are urged to avoid the area. Traffic control is in place.
It's unknown when the highway is expected to reopen.
