Impaired driving charges laid after single-vehicle crash

MANITOUWADGE — A 28-year-old has been charged with impaired driving after a single-vehicle collision.

Provincial police said officers responded to the incident on Manitou Road in Manitouwadge just after 3:30 a.m. on April 20.

Police said officers determined the driver was impaired by alcohol.

The accused is charged with two counts of impaired driving. He has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear in a Manitouwadge court in August.
