Lake Superior High School providing students with rapid antigen tests

TERRACE BAY -- Students at Lake Superior High School are being sent home for their winter break with rapid antigen tests.

Parents of students are asked to use the test every three to four days during the break in order to screen their own children and help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Instructions for parents are available on the school’s Facebook page.

Ontario is providing students learning in-person at publicly funded schools or attending participating private and First Nations schools with a five-pack rapid antigen test kit to use voluntarily during the winter break.

Students who test positive on a rapid antigen test must isolate and get a PCR test within 48 hours.
