RED ROCK—Nipigon, Red Rock and Dorion Public libraries are partnering to promote their fifth Superior Adventure program.
This active outdoor program promotes physical, mental and emotional enjoyment for the communities of Nipigon, Red Rock and Dorion through to the end of August, 2022.
Each month the Superior Adventure program features a monthly challenge. For May it was “favourite waterfall”; for June it was “weekly steps”, for July it was “library card outdoors” and for August it is “favourite sunrise and sunset”.
The libraries encourage everyone to get out and explore the hiking trails and locations in the communities of Dorion/Hurkett, Red Rock, Nipigon and Lake Helen from now until August 31.
By checking out their local library social media pages and website, participants can see what’s coming up for monthly challenges. August’s is “Favourite sunrise and sunset”.
Submissions for participating in these monthly challenges should be sent to RockingLibraries@gmail.com where your submissions will be entered into a chance to win prizes. These prizes are sponsored by community businesses.
