March Break virtual workshops engage students in fun skilled trade activities

MARATHON—Students of Superior-Greenstone District School Board were told about a great opportunity to tap into during their March Break.

Skills Ontario is offering a series of virtual workshops throughout the March Break. Participants will be led through fun skilled trade and tech-related workshops, demonstrations, virtual tours, speakers and presentations.

Sessions will be led by Skills Ontario staff and volunteers/partners via Zoom. Although typically suited to Grades 7, 8 and 9 students, workshops are open to all ages. Reference the event details for more information on the difficulty level for each event.

Spaces are limited. Each participant should register individually and complete a separate registration request for each event.

Participants should register for all spaces by March 10, 2022, in order to guarantee that the registration request is received in time. All virtual workshops are currently free, unless otherwise noted on the registration details.

Visit https://www.skillsontario.com/march-break for workshop details, safety checklists, and to register.
