TERRACE BAY—For several months now the Township of Terrace Bay has been in the process of procuring a permanent dedication to Terrace Bay residents who have served in the Canadian Military.
After searching historical records and speaking with community members they have been able to identify over 100 individuals who served in the Canadian Military.
On Aug. 19, at 3:00 p.m. at the Terrace Bay Cenotaph, the Township invited everyone to join them as they host the “Memorial Plaque” unveiling ceremony.
According to the Township, “The new memorial plaque is a permanent dedication to Terrace Bay residents who have served in the Canadian Military in the protection of the rights and freedoms of our country.”
