Multiple transport trucks involved in Highway 11 collision

GREENSTONE — Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a collision involving several transport trucks on Highway 11. 

A police spokesperson said one person was injured in the incident, which occurred on a curve just west of Longlac shortly before 2 o'clock Monday morning.

He said one transport truck jackknifed, and a total of five vehicles were involved in the collision.

Photos posted on social media showed four tractor-trailers off the road.

Highway 11 was closed temporarily after the collision, and traffic delays were expected later while the vehicles were being removed.

OPP charged one driver, but further details were not immediately available.
