Municipality of Manitouwadge offering residents many ways to participate in town’s future

MANITOUWADGE — Manitouwadge mayor and council shared with residents that there as so many ways they can participate and help shape the future of the Township of Manitouwadge. They encourage residents to learn about these ways, share their views, and get involved in their township's plans and future.

Council made residents aware of several key items still to be placed before council including the following:

  • 2022 Municipal Operating Budget

Council was presented with the first draft of the 2022 Municipal Operating Budget on March 31, 2022. Subsequently, it is council's intent to pass the final budget on April 21, 2022 at 1 p.m.

  • Property Standards Bylaw - Public Open House - April 21, 2022 at 6:30 p.m

The Township is in the process of updating its Property Standards Bylaw to reflect the province's requirement that the Township include the enforcement of the Residential Tenancies Act.

Residents are invited to attend Council’s in person presentation at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 21, 2022 to hear a presentation and ask questions about the Bylaw.
