NIPIGON—The Municipality of Nipigon has announced that the extension of the deadline for the Ontario Senior Achievement Award.
Each year, the program recognizes extraordinary seniors who after the age of 65, have made significant contributions to their community and/or province. The outstanding voluntary or professional achievement may be in any field or endeavour, including: the arts, literature, community service, volunteering, education, environment, fitness, and humanitarian activities.
Up to 20 individuals are recognized each year.
The deadline for nominations has been extended to September 9, 2022.
