NIPIGON—After having held their first pre-season meeting, the Township of Nipigon ATV Family Fun Run has released this year’s schedule.
During their meeting, discussions regarding setting the dates for the 2022 season and securing sponsors took place. In addition, they informed participants that they can now look forward to a Rewards Program this year; adding that their first scheduled ride is to take place before the May long weekend.
The organization indicated a new feature to their Rewards Program. They shared that it will, “put riders directly into their prize pool by attending all scheduled rides.” By attending all four scheduled rides, participants will be entered for many sponsored prizes.
Among the fun-filled family scheduled rides included is the Spring Thaw Bass- Lake- Polly- Lake Run, scheduled for Saturday, May 28, their Wolf Pup/Red Rock Falls to happen on Sunday, June 26, 2022 and the third Annual Family Fun Run with Stamps, scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 27, 2022.
Nipigon’s ATV Family Fun Run group is incorporating giving back to their community, by making donations to several noteworthy events which are also happening in Nipigon this season.
A few of these include a $200 prize to the Fall Fishing Festival Derby, $200 prize to the Red River Indian Band Salmon Derby and a $200 prize to support the 30th Red Rock Indian Band Pow Wow.
