MARATHON -- Paving and resurfacing work is scheduled to begin in Marathon this month.
According to town officials, road sections on Aspendale East, Ontario Street and Yawkey Avenue will undergo paving resurfacing work during the months of September and October.
The scope of work includes full depth removal of asphalt, disposal and paving.
All affected areas noted on the attached drawings, will be reduced to one lane of traffic; however, please expect traffic delays during construction.
Taranis Contracting will be mobilizing equipment on Monday and commencing work middle to end of next week.
Work is expected to be completed by early October 2022.
