Several thousand Hydro One customers northeast of Thunder Bay have had their power restored.
The outage, which started Wednesday morning, was caused by a broken insulator. Hydro One said about half of the customers who initially lost power had service restored through an alternate supply.
An additional 3,700 customers were without power in the afternoon.
Power had been expected to be restored around 3 p.m.
