WHITE RIVER – Frank Dottori, president and CEO of White River Forest Products, is retiring.
The 82-year-old forestry icon previously retired back in January 2019, but instead chose to stay and run the forestry company.
White River mayor Angelo Bazzoni has nothing but praise for Dottori.
“Frank has been an excellent help,” Bazzoni said.
“People just don’t understand the work that Frank has given to the north, the whole Superior East region, he was once chairman of the board AV Terrace Bay and got that up and running. For White River, Hornepayne and Hornepayne Power…he’s just a fabulous man, he is certainly going to be missed in the industry.”
Dottori is also famously known as the founder and former CEO of Canadian forestry giant, Tembec, from which he "retired" in 2005.
