NIPIGON -- Nipigon residents can look forward to a day of fun activities with a science twist.
Science North will be presenting The Great Northern Ontario Roadshow on Sunday, March 13.
The day promises to be filled with fun activities organized by Science North at Nipigon Community Centre from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
With the community of Nipigon surrounded by natural beauty, shorelines, lakes and excellent hiking trails, this is one stop on the Great Northern Ontario Roadshow route that you won’t want to miss.
They will feature a lot of fun and adventure for the whole family, with a scientific twist. Typically Science North offers science shows, entertainment, music, and local specialties from food trucks, restaurants and home-grown brewers, at these events.
Science North has indicated that all hands-on activities will be frequently cleaned and disinfected. For the safety of all visitors to the event hand sanitizing stations will be available on the grounds.
To keep the location a fun and safe environment, masks will have to be worn when taking part in the activities.
With this Northern Ontario science-based roadshow taking place on March 13, it offers Nipigon families, their children, and the community, a great way to kick off their school-scheduled March Break.
