Special weather statement in effect for Webequie

WEBEQUIE -- Environment Canada says snow and blowing snow will continue Monday in Webequie.

The government weather agency says periods of snow, freezing rain and ice pellets continue early Monday morning. The area of freezing rain will move northeast as precipitation will change to snow. 

Wind gusts will also increase to up to 60 kilometres this morning, creating local blowing snow conditions.

Snow is expected to come to an end this evening.
