SUPERIOR NORTH -- Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for parts of the region.
The government weather agency says strong wind with gusts up to 70 kilometres are expected Friday morning and afternoon, easing into the evening.
Attawapiskat could see up to 80 kilometre winds.
Local power outages are possible.
