TERRACE BAY -- Students from St. Martin’s Grade 7 and 8 classes, learned to use their new VR headsets as a learning tool that helps them better explore environments and experiences from their classroom.
On Tuesday, Dec. 13, Mr Mauro, teacher of the 7 and 8 class, could be seen here demonstrating the use of this new equipment to his students.
The school posted this innovative event on their school’s Facebook and got several favourable reactions.
The school principal, Lindsay Costa said, “It was a great day! Loved seeing the interactive learning and sheer excitement from the students AND staff who were able to engage today.”
