TERRACE BAY — A new annual event is being initiated by the Municipality of Terrace Bay next month.
All households can take part in “Hazardous Waste Day-Terrace Bay” on June 3 between 10 and 2 p.m.
This event will be held at Terrace Bay Tourist Information Centre Parking Lot.
In an effort to help their community keep their environment clean and safe, the municipality encourages individuals to get involved as volunteers and offer a helping hand on that special day. Interested residents should email spc@terracebay.ca to volunteer.
The Municipality’s notice included information about eligible household hazardous waste items. Should anyone still require clarification regarding what can and can’t be disposed of on that day, they are asked to contact their Public Works Office-Recycling on e-waste, or call (807)-285-9016.
