Three people arrested in Northwestern Ontario drug bust

NIPIGON — Three people have been charged after a drug bust in Nipigon. 

Various provincial police units converged on a home on Harkness Street in Nipigon on Wednesday with a search warrant. 

A 52-year-old, 65-year-old and a 37-year-old were arrested. All three suspects are from Nipigon.

Police collected what is believed to be methamphetamine, fentanyl and morphine from the home during their search, along with cash and other drug trafficking paraphernalia. 

Two of the suspects have been held for a bail hearing, while the third has been released with a future court date.
