NIPIGON — A pair of traffic complaints led to the arrest of a Thunder Bay man on drinking and driving charges.
In a media release issued on Tuesday, Nipigon OPP said they received two complaints on May 21 just before 6:30 p.m. about a driver heading east along Highway 11/17 from the Shuniah area.
Police said they stopped the vehicle near Nipigon and the 37-year-old man then allegedly failed a breathalyzer test. According to the OPP, he was arrested and taken to the Nipigon detachment for further testing.
The man faces a pair of impaired driving charges.
He was released from custody with a future court date in Nipigon, police said.
