MARATHON: The North of Superior Healthcare Group, (NOSH) has informed their community that they have been selected to take part in the Tim Hortons Smile Cookie Campaign.
Tim Hortons restaurant owners will be donating 100% of the proceeds from this year’s campaign sales to over 650 charities and community programs across Canada. To date they have raised $77 million over the past 25 years.
This year their Smile Cookie campaign will run from Sept. 19-25, 2022.
Mitchel Hatton, administrative relations coordinator for NOSH, shared that “All proceeds collected through the Smile Cookie campaign will be directed towards the Families Closer to Home campaign in support of the 14-bed LTC addition to Wilson Memorial General Hospital, (WMGH)." Hatton outlined how the community can take part to donate.
- Community groups and organizations can place bulk orders starting Sept. 8, and must be submitted at least 48 hours prior to pick up. Final day for bulk orders, Sept. 22, 2022.
- Delivery of bulk orders available upon request, and can be made pending volunteer availability.
- Members of Peninsula Manor and WMGH will be decorating cookies on Sept. 19, to kick off the Smile Cookie campaign.
To place a personal order at the restaurant, simply tell a staff member you would like to purchase a smile cookie. You can also place monetary donations with any drive-through or in store purchase.
