NIPIGON — A 29-year-old from Caledon, Ont., faces Highway Traffic Act charges after police found a commercial vehicle missing a wheel.

Provincial police said officers with the Nipgion detachment responded to the traffic complaint on Sunday morning.

The driver has been charged with driving a commercial motor vehicle with a detached part, and driving a commercial motor vehicle with a major defect in it or in a drawn vehicle.

Police are asking people to report if they see a motor vehicle — whether it be a passenger vehicle, commercial vehicle, or snowmobile — being operated in a dangerous way.
