HORNEPAYNE—The Hornepayne Public Library, (HPL) in collaboration with Hornepayne EarlyON Family and Child Centre, are inviting families to take part in their Upcycled Wall Art project.

The program will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 4, from 10:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m., and Tuesday, Oct. 11, during the same times.

The project is one of the Municipality of Hornepayne’s Culture Days initiatives and is focused on engaging the community in the variety of events which the municipality has organized during these Culture Days.

HPL informed the community that all materials for the Upcycled Wall Art project will be provided. It is hoped that through the participation and promotion of this project, there can be a focus on the importance of reusing materials in different ways that will benefit the environment.

According to HPL, the goal is to promote the importance of recycling and conservation, raise awareness about the consequences of our actions on the environment while also fostering, what they describe as, “the love of their community and the teamwork of creating theFamily upcycled wall art.”

The Municipality of Hornepayne Culture Days runs from Sept. 23 until Oct. 11, 2022.
