WAWA — A 47-year-old is charged with spousal assault after an alleged domestic dispute.
Provincial police said officers responded to a report of a domestic dispute on Hillcrest Avenue in Wawa on the afternoon of May 26.
The investigation led to the accused being charged with assault and mischief under $5,000.
The accused, whose name was not provided by police due to the domestic nature of the incident, has been released from custody and is expected to appear in a Wawa court in July.
