Wawa resident charged with uttering threats

WAWA — A 30-year-old has been arrested after allegedly making threats.

Provincial police said officers were called to Tamarack Avenue in Wawa on the afternoon of Jan. 19 for a threats occurrence.

The accused is charged with one count of uttering threats of causing death or bodily harm.

Police said the accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear in a Wawa court in March.
