WAWA—The Municipality of Wawa, Bylaw winter parking comes into effect from Oct.15 to May 15 of next year.
According to the notice posted by the township, the bylaw prohibits parking on any street within the municipality between 1 a.m. and 8 a.m. during that period.
It is also unlawful to park any vehicle, trailer or vessel on any boulevard in the municipality, the township noted.
Any vehicle or trailer found contravening the bylaw will be removed at the owner’s expense, and a fine will be levied.
In addition, residents were made aware that daily storage fees for vehicles removed will also be levied against the item, which will need to be paid in full in order for the item to be released to the owner.
