OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our marketing initiatives, and driving engagement across various channels. Responsibilities include supervising staff and students, coordinating promotions, responding to inquiries, preparing marketing materials, and evaluating customer experience, and more. This position will require frequent communication with athletes, coaches, and sports organizations. This role is responsible for having a complete understanding of all sports organizations in the area, their schedules, seasons, off seasons, etc.
TASKS
Develop all kinds of events for publicity, fundraising and information purposes
Supervise professional and support staff and students
Perform administrative tasks
Answer written and oral inquiries
Assist in the preparation of brochures, reports, newsletters and other material
Co-ordinate special publicity events and promotions
Prepare and/or deliver educational, publicity and information programs, materials and
sessions
Evaluate customer service and store environments
Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support
Conduct therapeutic recreational or athletic activities
EXPERIENCE
1 year to less than 2 years
Must have an athletic / sports back ground in either hockey, soccer, volleyball or baseball.
Must have a full understanding of all local sports season (In-season / off-season).
EDUCATION
College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
or equivalent experience.
