Algoma Public Health offering Wawa vaccine clinics

Inspite of the lifting of some COVID-19 restrictions by the Ontario govenment, many health units, including Algoma Public Health is offering vaccine clinics. If you do not know if you are due for an immunization, or when your can receive your vaccine, you are encouraged to call the health unit for clarification.

WAWA — Algoma Public Health told residents that it is offering by-appointment only vaccine clinics, coming up in Wawa.

The clinics will be available on Wednesday, March 16, from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. and then again on Wednesday, March 30, from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m.

Those wanting the vaccine are to book an appointment by calling, (705)-856-7206, and then go to Michipicoten Memorial Community Centre, during the times indicated. Phone lines are open Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

If you do not know if you are due for an immunization, residents are encouraged to call the Centre and they will let them know.
