WAWA — A 25-year-old faces multiple charges after a domestic dispute last week.
Provincial police responded to reports of the incident on First Avenue in Wawa on the evening of July 20.
The investigation led to one person facing charges.
The accused is charged with forcible confinement, along with one count of spousal assault and one count of assault causing bodily harm by choking, suffocating or strangling.
The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear in a Wawa court next month.
Police have not publicly released the name of the accused due to the domestic nature of the incident.
