NIPIGON -- A Greenstone resident is facing impaired driving charges following an evening collision.
Nipigon Ontario Provincial Police and Anishinabek Police Service were notified of a single motor vehicle collision on Saturday, July 16 shortly before 6 p.m. near the intersection of Stewart Lake Road and Highway 11/17, in the Township of Stirling.
As a result of the investigation, a 38-year-old of Greenstone has been charged with operation while impaired - alcohol and operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration over 80.
The driver was released and will appear in Nipigon Criminal Court on Sept.13, 2022.
