RED ROCK—Residents of the Municipality of Red Rock will have to put up with a few more delays, since the municipality just indicated that the construction schedule for the Brompton water, sewer and storm replacement project has changed.

The way in which the project schedule will change, is that it will be on a 10- working day schedule and four days off.

The municipality shared this schedule so that residents impacted by this construction will know what accommodations they may have to make to driving routes and daily activities may have to be made.

This project is part of the municipality’s infrastructure planning and projects, meant to address the historical water quality issues along this length of Brompton Road. The project is said to involve the replacement of asphalt, curbs and gutter.

The updated construction schedule for the Brompton road project will be as follows:

  • Construction ON: Tuesday, June 21 - Thursday, June 30
  • Construction OFF: Friday, July 1 - Monday, July 4
  • Construction ON: Tuesday, July 5 - Thursday, July 14
  • Construction OFF: Friday, July 15 - Monday, July 18
  • Construction ON: Tuesday, July 19 - Thursday, July 28
  • Construction OFF: Friday, July 29 - Monday, August 1

The municipality indicates that this working schedule will continue in this pattern until further notice.
