TERRACE BAY--The North Shore Family Health Team (NSFHT) and the North of Superior Healthcare Group (NOSH) are pleased to announce that the COVID-19 outbreak at The McCausland Hospital Acute Care wing has been officially declared over by the Thunder Bay District Health Unit as of July 4, 2022.
They also extend their thanks and appreciation to the patients of The McCausland Hospital for their support, trust and patience as the navigated through this outbreak with 6 confirmed cases.
The NSFHT and the NOSH also thanked the NOSH staff, “Who worked tirelessly to manage the outbreak and keep the spirits up for those in isolation.” To everyone in the community who has sent us well wishes and messages of support over the past weeks, thank you! Your support helped The McCausland Hospital staff and patients stay positive throughout these challenging times," added NOSH.
Visitation has now resumed allowing for 4 Essential Care Partners (ECPs) per patient with 2 visiting at one time. All ECPs will be designated by the patient or family and are required to complete a screening form located at the main entrance.
