Drug trafficking charge laid in Terrace Bay

Provincial police say officers investigation into drug trafficking in Terrace Bay started after receiving complaints from the public.

TERRACE BAY — Public complaints spurred a drug trafficking arrest in Terrace Bay.

Provincial police said officers with the Schreiber detachment began an investigation into drug trafficking in Terrace Bay after receiving complaints from the public.

That investigation led to a warrant being issued for the arrest of a 35-year-old from Terrace Bay.

The accused was arrested on Tuesday and charged with trafficking cocaine.
