Extreme cold in effect for parts of the region

SUPERIOR NORTH -- Environment Canada is warning residents to bundle up Friday morning.

The government weather agency says a period of very cold wind chills is expected this morning.

Wind chill values could reach -40C.

Dress in layers that you can remove if you get too warm. The outer layer should be wind resistant.
