PEAWANUCK -- Environment Canada is warning of a multi-day episode of very cold wind chills.
The government weather agency states that extremely cold wind chills are expected overnight Thursday and into Friday morning.
Minimum temperatures near -35C while wind chill values near -50C.
Strong northwesterly winds gusting up to 50 kilometres an hour Friday morning.
Extremely cold wind chills are expected to continue into early next week during the nights and mornings.
Some relief from the extreme cold is expected during the afternoons.
