SCHREIBER — A nearby house was spared but a recreational vehicle was destroyed by a fire that broke out Wednesday morning in Schreiber.

Fire Chief Jan Morrison said the alarm was called in after a neighbour spotted the fire around 9 a.m.

Firefighters arrived to find the 30-foot trailer fully engulfed.

It was parked in the driveway of a home and was only a few metres from the residence, but Morrison said the house escaped any serious damage.

No one was injured.

The cause of the fire has not been determined.
