MANITOUWADGE—The Township of Manitouwadge launched its Spring Clean-up days set to run June 6 to June 10, 2022.

It recently took time to send out its appreciation and thanks to four schools in Manitouwadge who participated in Spring Clean-up.

They visibly showed their gratitude by providing the students with a hot dog lunch and fun in the Drop In area.

According to the township they offered a special thank you to several key community leaders who were present to guide the student helpers. “Special thank you to Don Kruger city fire chief, Melissa Beggin fire administrator, Katie Law, director, and Michelle Bell, rec staff, for all your help at the BBQ.”

“And a huge thank you to the students for helping to keep our town beautiful,” added the township.

Spring has facilitated clean-up efforts by many townships in the region in the hope of getting community members engaged and involved in these initiatives and help their communities stay beautiful.
