Frost advisory remains in effect

Advisory area spans from Atikokan to Thunder Bay, as well as across the north shore of Lake Superior

Another frosty night appears to be on the way for Thunder Bay and Superior North areas.

Environment Canada has a frost advisory in effect for the city and areas along the north shore of Lake Superior, with temperatures expected to drop to near or below freezing Thursday night into Friday morning.

An advisory had been issued on Wednesday for the areas, with similar conditions.

Environment Canada advised that plants be covered, especially in frost-prone areas. People are also urged to take preventative measures to protect frost-sensitive plants and trees.
