GREENSTONE—Residents of the Municipality of Greenstone were informed on Oct. 20, that Greenstone Family Health Team, (GreenstoneFHT) will be offering an Urgent Care Walk-in Clinic beginning Nov. 7, 2022.
The clinic will run every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
GreenstoneFHT informed residents of how the walk-in will work. In order to take advantage of the walk-in clinic you must be present in person at the Greenstone FHT between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. to sign up for the walk-in. At that time, you will be given an approximate time to return to see the provider.
In addition, the following types of appointments will be available for the walk-in clinic:
Urgent primary care concerns that are best assessed outside the emergency department.
Examples:
- Urinary tract infection symptoms (UTI)
- Sore Throat/Ear/Nose
- Cough/cold symptoms (negative covid)
- Flu symptoms (negative covid)
- Aches and pains
- Rashes
- Lumps/bumps
- High/Low Blood Pressure
- Uncontrolled A1C/Diabetes
- Anxiety/Depression
